The 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games offer London and its communities a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to benefit from increased attention, interest and investment.

The Big Opportunity will harness the skills, experience and innovation of the Third Sector to enable London’s communities to fully benefit from the 2012 Games.

The Big Opportunity launched in June 2007 at Clifford Chance with over 200 hundred guests representing many different communities across London. The event included speeches from the Rt Hon Tessa Jowell, Paul Deighton, Chief Executive, London 2012 Organising committee, Ed Miliband, Minister for the Third Sector and Ade Adepitan MBE, Paralympian.
