About us

The Big Opportunity will harness the skills, experience and innovation of the Third Sector to enable London’s communities to fully benefit from the 2012 Games.

The Big Opportunity is a partnership project between Greater London Volunteering (GLV), London Civic Forum (LCF) and London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC).

It was developed from a partnership of GLV, LCF, LVSC and East London CVS Network as part of the London ChangeUp consortium. ChangeUp is managed by Capacitybuilders.

The steering group for The Big Opportunity is drawn from organisations which aim to represent the key communities of London and the Games and from individuals who are committed to the aims of the initiative.
