CompeteFor
If your organisation is interested in bidding for one of the contracts and sub-contracts for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, you need to register with www.competefor.com or call 0845 217 7804. You’ll need to register before you can tender.
CompeteFor is the chosen site of London 2012 for the publication of Games-related contract opportunities. It acts as a brokerage service between buyers throughout the London 2012 supply chain, and potential suppliers.
CompeteFor also provides access to business support services; building skills and capacity to ensure that businesses across the UK can access opportunities linked to the hosting of the London 2012 Games.
CompeteFor has been developed on behalf of the English Regional Development Agencies and UK Devolved Administrations by the London Development Agency, working closely with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA).

Social Enterprise
If you think that setting up your own social enterprise could be the way to go, contact Social Enterprise London (SEL), the development agency for social enterprises in London. They can offer you a wide range of benefits, including: advice, capacity-building, consultancy (e.g. business planning help, product development help), information, networking and training; as well as a directory of London’s social enterprises and a “virtual market-place” for social enterprises to trade with each other. SEL’s project “Social Enterprise: Winning with 2012”, is a national project (funded by the Office of the Third Sector) to maximise social enterprise involvement in the delivery and legacy of the 2012 Games. This project can offer you information, for example about business opportunities, policy news and updates, events, as well as a network for BAME social enterprises. They would also like to hear from you if you are a social enterprises that is planning to bid for Olympic contracts, what you have to offer, your experience of bidding for contracts, and anything else that would allow them to give you a voice.
